The
flats and lagoon system around Isla Blanca offer the angler with year
round fly fishing opportunities to catch and release a great variety
of species such as Tarpon, Snook, Permit, Bonefish, Seatrout, Amberjack,
Ladyfish, Red snaper, etc. Affording the chance of a "Super Grand Slam". 
North
of Cancun but south of Isla Holbox is the Chacmuchuk Lagoon. On the
East side of the lagoon is a strip of land called Isla Blanca. Not
really an island but it is pretty close. A decent road road connects
the area to to Cancun. It is the only destination that will be suitable
for day fly fishing trips out of Cancun.
